How It Works

Choose a layout and background, add your text then save your template. Starting iSnapping – it’s as simple as that! You can use the template as many times as you like.

As you shoot the individual pictures will automatically be placed in your template.  The isnap.it images can then be easily shared with friends and family.  Both the individual pictures and the resulting collage are saved in your iPhone’s Photo Library.

Templates can be created in a few seconds.  You choose from a number of different backgrounds or import your own background image.  You can have up to four images in a single template.

Images can be captured manually, automatically or imported from the Photo Library on your iPhone or iPod Touch.  Once the template is full, iSnap.it creates a new image which is then saved to the Photo Library.  Alternatively, you can share the image directly through iSnap.it via e-mail, Facebook or Twitter.

Features

iSnap.it includes some really cool features to help you create and share amazing templates.

  • Layout

Choose from twenty different layouts – each with between one and four images.

  • Background

Either select a background from one of the available options or import any picture you like from your Photo Library and use that as the background to your template.

  • Adding text, icons and logos

You can add as much text to your template as you’d like.  Select a font and color and off you go.  To add an icon either choose from the available graphics or import your logo or any other graphic file from your Photo Library.  Resize or rotate as required and place it wherever you wish.

  • Share your images

Got a great image you want to share right away with friends or family?  E-mail it, upload it to Facebook or Twitter all within iSnap.it.

  • Template Library

Party or family day out templates may be day specific (for example if they include the date).  Alternatively, you may want to reuse templates days or weeks after you created them.  For this reason, iSnap.it allows you to store up six templates to be reused whenever you wish.  If you template library is full, you can decide which to delete when creating additional templates.

Cost

The iSnap.it application is free and downloads with ability to create and use two free templates.  Each template can be used to create an unlimited number of images.

Once you’ve experienced the fun of iSnap.it, you can purchase additional template credits – two additional templates cost $0.99.  Remember, once created, each template can be used to create an unlimited number of images.

iSnap.it can store up to six saved templates.
